Personal Description:

¡Hola!

I am native Spanish teacher currently working and living in UK. I came to England to improve my English skills and gain a different professional experience, and now, five years later here I am working and developing every day my profession.

Teaching Experience:

After being working for several years in Spain as a Primary teacher and as a Modern Foreign Language Teacher I moved to England with my Education Degree and Masters Degree in Languages.
Five years later teaching Primary students, tutoring Spanish GCSE and Spanish A-Levels and teaching Spanish one to one and to groups of adults from beginners up to advanced level, I can say I have gained lot of expertise and useful experiences which had helped me and still do to enrich my life and my professional skills.

Teaching Approach:

I am a very energetic and happy person full of joy and enthusiasm, and that is the way I like my classes to run: dynamic, fun, enjoyable, challenging and promoting freedom of speech.

One of my strengths is that I love travelling, especially to Latin American countries where I have friends. Due to this I am constantly in touch with their cultures, language and current affairs. That is one of the reasons I can and like to teach different cultures in my classes —Spanish and Latin American—, since Spanish language should not be focused only on the Spanish culture and country.

On the other hand, I consider being a native speaker brings a lot in a class and helps at getting high conversational skills with native Spanish speakers; I also create many of my own resources as I am a very curious teacher constantly in touch with the new technologies and as well as the newest and popular teaching resources online.
