Dear student who wants to learn Hungarian!

Is your partner a Hungarian? Or is your Heritage Hungarian? Would you like to communicate with them in that unique language? It`s time to call me!

Let a native Hungarian speaker help you. I am a London based Hungarian teacher and Cover Supervisor in a school.
Please contact me if you would like to learn Hungarian! I love challenges and I enjoy teaching! As I work in a primary school, my methods are quite playful and I believe even as an adult it’s the easiest way to learn!

Teaching Approach:

My lessons:
-Hungarian sounds - learning them, writing them down and pronounce them. It`s very important. I kind of understand if someone doesn't want to bother with grammar but without knowing the Hungarian sounds no one can speak Hungarian.
-Learning new words through different topics (welcoming, ordering in the restaurant, introducing yourself… ), in this part there are lots of listening and speaking. I try to always give written form of this part to make sure you`ll remember (that`s another reason why it`s important to be able to read in Hungarian).
-I do something extra with each student according to their interest. My Spanish student wants to learn proper Hungarian and not only phrases. I do lots of grammar with her. She knows fewer words (thanks for the time that we spend for grammar) but when I give her a new word she is able to put it in different contexts and use it with different personal pronouns, or if it's a verb conjugate it etc. correctly. Other students only want to learn phrases for a trip to Hungary. Then of course learning the grammar is not necessary.
-I always finish my lessons with practising the learned material. And the next lesson starts with the same - practising the last lesson.
