Information About Maria - Muswell Hill teacher

Personal Description:

My name is Maria and I am from Greece. I am an enthusiastic teacher of Modern Greek, with a B.A. in Philosophy and Social Studies from University of Crete,Greece. I have a long experience on teaching Modern Greek as well as Ancient Greek and I would like to help the students to pass their exams, learn Greek for their personal reasons or to successfully reach their goals.

Teaching Experience:

My teaching experience started 6 years ago in Greece and I carried on my profession here in the UK, and specifically in Greek and English schools. I am a motivated teacher and I have a QTS. I haved worked with different age groups of children and this is something that I really love to do and I am passionate. Furthermore, I have intention to enhance my teaching skills and my knowledge on that field.

Teaching Approach:

I am able to teach any type of Greek lessons, taking my students from the beginners level to excellence. I follow a systematic approach that will guarantee a steady progression to higher levels of knowledge and understanding of the language. My teaching is individualised based on the needs of the students with the ultimate aim of teaching people that will enjoy studying the Greek language and learning about the civilisation.
