Information About Margaret - Caerphilly teacher
I have a 2.1 degree in French/Classical Studies from UCW Aberystwyth and also obtained a distinction in the final oral part of
the Institute of Linguists examination.
I have been a teaching assistant in a secondary school for the past 6 years. During this time I was largely based in
the languages department, majoring in French. I was responsible for preparing one to one tuition sessions for various
pupils who benefited from additional help outside the classroom.
I often use visual aids when tutoring younger children (in the past I have run classes for primary school children) and I try
to introduce an element of fun through these in order to reinforce learning. When tutoring for GCSE I have used the relevant
textbooks and created additional exercises to increase understanding.
