This is how 2 referees rated Louisa:
I have grown up children, a husband and enjoy horseriding, cooking, reading and yoga. I have lived in this area for most of my life but have travelled widely mostly in the Far East and Europe.
I am a self-employed English as a Foreign Language teacher who specialises in working with 4 - 12 year olds. I have over 20 years experience of working in the ESOL, EAL field with young learners and adults. I have worked at several local schools as well as working in Japan.
I gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages in 2008 and am able to support students with grammar, vocabulary extension, pronunciation, vocabulary for curriculum (school) based subjects as well as reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.
My methodology is very much communicative based so the students have a lot of opportunity to speak and listen. I teach through building confidence and I hope my lessons are always fun and active.
I run classes in central Leamington for foreign children attending British schools. English as an Additional Language for
Young Learners. We run classes to support non-native English speakers improve their language skills. We teach children from 5 – 11 years old at our school in Leamington Spa.

We aim to build confidence so the children feel happy to use and experiment with their new language skills. We learn through games and communicative activities to encourage child to participate the language, culture and school life.
