Personal Description:

It's my passion seeing learners of all ages and all abilities progress and build confidence in their knowledge and skills and have fun! Learning is finding what works for each person and working with them to achieve their individual learning goals.

Teaching Experience:

Having taught at university in Spain for fifteen years, a degree in Spanish with Business and another in Translation & Interpreting, and having worked in education at different levels for almost 30 years, I can confidently say that i am an experienced education professional. My experience includes teaching all ages and abilities from absolute beginners to university students and i have been responsible for managing teams of teachers in both Spain and England. I have worked with over five examining bodies to develop qualifications, to ensure teachers are meeting the criteria and to teach and support learners to achieve their qualifications and i have worked as an internal quality assurer and external examiner for various public bodies in Spain.

Teaching Approach:

I believe learning at any level needs to be fun and engaging at the same time as it meets people's needs, whatever their level. I am approachable and have an open style and i combine that with keeping an eye on progress.
