Information About Liam - Greenwich teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Liam:
I have a passion for education and I am always on the look out to help others in any area that I can help with. My background is in languages so I have significant experience as both a student and a teacher, giving me an important perspective that helps me adjust my teaching approach to different learners needs.
I am from Ireland, currently living in London to study for my masters degree at Goldsmiths College. I studied my undergraduate degree in French, Spanish, and Human Rights at the National University of Ireland, Galway. I enjoy travelling and meeting people from different cultures and I have been lucky to have had the opportunity to live and work in France, Spain, the USA, and Japan. In my spare time I enjoy reading, exercising, and exploring the outdoors.
I have a wide variety of experiences that have helped me develop my teaching method. For 2 years I led art classes for children with disabilities - I organised the lesson plan for a number of teachers and helped one child one on one during the session. I also assisted at swimming lessons for children and teenagers with disabilities for a number of years. In recent years I have held conversation classes for French and Spanish students wanting to improve their English.
As I believe extra lessons are much more productive when they are enjoyable, I try to ensure the student has a good time during lessons. I do this through use of games, fun thought experiments and interesting questions, all designed around a specific theme for that weeks lesson.
