Personal Description:
I undertook part of my schooling in France and went on to obtain a minor scholarship (Open Exhibition) to read Modern Languages at Oxford University. I went on to study for an MBA in France and have lived and worked in France in the course of a career outside teaching.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching for four years and am on the books of two agencies, **Contact Detail Removed** and **Contact Detail Removed** as well as making myself available for direct contact by students or their parents.
Teaching Approach:
Students today are let down by a methodology that seeks to make language learning 'relevant' and 'accessible' at the expense of providing the essential building-blocks that underpin any language. My approach is to make up for this deficit and to encourage students to get to grips with this fascinating language which, with the investment of a little time and effort, they will find useful and culturally enriching well beyond their school years.
