Personal Description:

I am a native and friendly teacher. I am Mexican and in November 2010 I decided to move to York with my family because it is a great city to live, now we live in Newcastle due to work. I am reliable and patient and the fact that I am living overseas has allowed me to be flexible and give me the ability to approach people from different backgrounds. I am a good listener and I like helping people. Since I arrived in UK, I have been an active member of the Latin American Society in York and I have been promoting and organising Latin events for the university and a charity. I also assist people to get into the Latin culture through events and dance lessons at the university . In my free time I like playing music and reading.

Teaching Approach:

I am a reliable, responsible and a registered tutor.
I have been living in England since November 2010 and that has allowed me to develop my skills teaching Spanish as a foreign language. I have worked with people of all ages, from children to adults.
I have a wide range of materials and most of all I prepare personalised classes according to each student's needs. I prepare my classes depending on my student's preferences and I like to know what their needs are so that I can plan effective classes.

I am very patient and always try to encourage my students to reach their goals a proof of that is my GCSE`s students results most of them achieving A to A* I always try to inspire my students to learn and enjoy the language and the culture of Spanish speaking countries. I am also very confident teaching Spanish A level students in all areas from the grammar to the specific topics, with my students we always try to get the highest mark.

I love teaching and enjoy all the time with my students. With younger learners I provide fun classes with games and music to help the kids using their creativity and also introducing them to the culture.

I am a spanish native speaker, which helps my students to have a real experience of the language and the culture which I consider important when starting to learn a language.
