Personal Description:

I am Dutch and a professional academic, course-content creator, artist, editor and podcaster. I am a PhD scholar, and studied Cultural Studies at the Open University in the Netherlands, and Music at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam. I taught music for 20 + years and enjoy teaching about the subjects I love (Dutch language, art, art history, cultural philosophy, cultural history, literature, film philosophy). When I'm not developing a course I adore illustrating books and book covers. I have spent years teaching one to one in institutions as well as at home.

Teaching Approach:

I love the Dutch language and literature, and I very much enjoy learning and I know learning can be a really joyful experience. I can help you to expand your knowledge and show you how learning can open your horizons. I focus on all the tools and insights students can use to achieve the results they need, and to be successful. If you have to go to the Netherlands to work and need your exams, I can help you. I use my own method and De Opmaat which is the basic method for the person with higher education, End level is A2. If you need B2 we can take that step too.
