Personal Description:

Hi there, I am Karen, South Korean born tutor, educated in the USA and lived most of my life in abroad. My mother tongue is Korean and fluent in English and French. I am a linguist and professional interpreter/translator. I also have been teaching Korean and English to various different students from Primary to University and Professional level. Occasionally I am invited to teach intensive Korean language courses for employees who are currently working or wish to work for Korean Companies, i.e. Samsung, Korean Air, KIA, Hyundai, LG, KT, Korean Government Agencies etc. I am organised, professional and open-minded, and mostly enjoy teaching. For anyone who wishes to learn Korean language and culture, please give me a shout, I am more than willing to help!

Teaching Approach:

Dear Students, I believe learning new foreign language is all about 'patience.' I went through this to learn English in my early days. It requires a lot of time and efforts. I am flexible so there are no strict rules in my teaching. All my lessons are tailor made based on your needs. You can choose any topics or materials you wish to study, and I can help you with absolutely anything in Korean. Just we need to find out your level in the first session, pick your best lesson slot ( this must be steady and consistent to bring some results, ie. same schedule every week), and some homework that you don't mind doing every day.
