Personal Description:

I am extremely passionate about language-learning. Having completed my undergraduate degree in French and Italian in 2015, I have been consistently striving to improve and practise my language skills. For this reason, I decided to train to become an English teacher in 2019, to be able to share my enthusiasm with others by teaching my native language.

Outside of languages, I love live music and going rock-climbing.

Teaching Experience:

After completing my CELTA qualification in August 2019, I began looking for work as an English teacher. I started working for a private English school in Bydgoszcz, Poland in September and worked there until the coronavirus-related school closures in March 2020. In this time, I amassed over 300 hours of teaching with a wide range of age groups and levels of ability, from 7-year-old beginners to advanced retirees.

I have been studying French for over sixteen years and Italian for over nine. I work on my language skills daily and use the skills I have inherited teaching English to influence my own study.

I believe the benefits of language-learning, in terms of cultural understanding and freedom of expression, increase exponentially, but that even modest language skills can provide great rewards.

Teaching Approach:

I pride myself on the effort I put into all my lesson plans and activities, hoping to crea**Contact Detail Removed**ssons which are varied, engaging and tailored to the receiving students. At the school which I taught for in Poland, a great emphasis was placed on development and on sharing ideas, which has permitted me to reliably build well-structured lessons to maximise students' learning.

I would describe my personality as a teacher as relatable, enthusiastic and patient.
