Information About Jenny - Walsall teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Jenny:
I am a very approachable and friendly person and am keen to share my passion with languages with others. Outside of work, I love spending time with my friends and family, walking my (very cute) dog, learning French and baking - so there also might be cake.
I am a secondary school teacher with a broad range of experience. I have taught German and Italian at secondary school level for 6 years and also have leadership and management experience. I have attended and delivered a number of workshops centred around sharing best practice in language teaching and the new GCSE and feel well equipped to prepare any student for the exam. I have a number of contacts within German schools and have managed and directed a number of international projects during my time as a teacher. I also have run a number of after school clubs including Japanese. This wealth of experience I have alongside an excellent rapport with my students I would say makes me very confident in my teaching abilities.
I have a very practical approach to teaching and think that students learn best when they dive in and take risks and give it a go - especially when it comes to learning a language. I believe that spoken proficiency and spontaneous language generation are so important for being able to communicate in a language and that mastering this will be the key to unlocking a life long passion for language.
