Information About Hollie - Cheltenham teacher

Personal Description:

I have a passion for languages and love sharing that with others.I love travelling and discovering new cultures in each country I visit. I also really enjoy sport and do lots of running, swimming, cycling and raquet sports in my spare time. I am a caring and easy-going person who's keen to help people learn, whatever the level.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught in a mainstream secondary school for several years. I teach German and Spanish up to A-Level and French to GCSE. I am also a senior exam marker so have a strong understanding of the requirements for gaining top marks. I have provided one on one tuition for both A-Level and GCSE students as well as adult tuition just for fun and for people with holiday homes.

Teaching Approach:

I believe you need to be having fun in order to learn best. My passion and enthusiasm dominate my teaching and I have received some lovely comments from students about how much they enjoy my lessons. I always try to make my activities engaging, on the right level and aimed to develop the skill you need most help with. I find learning through games and competition is normally popular with my students and also helps to build confidence (something everyone seems to lack with a language). I am flexible and will always seek feedback and try to adapt my teaching to best suit the individual. I would love to help you learn something new or develop an exsiting skill .
