Personal Description:

Hello! My name is Glenn. I was born in Oxford but moved around quite a bit and have had a variety of different jobs. For the last twenty years or so, I have been a translator and am privileged to call myself a Chartered Linguist. I keep fit and eat healthily. I do not smoke or drink alcohol. I am kind, friendly, patient and a good role model. Regardless of ethnic background or sexual orientation (I am an LGBT ally), I treat everyone equally and with respect.

Teaching Experience:

I passed my PGCE Secondary with commendation and have been rated as a good teacher with outstanding elements. After training at two outstanding schools, I worked part-time at a mixed comprehensive and then became a private tutor, teaching German up to A' level. Last year, I provided general cover through an agency in six different schools in Norfolk.

Teaching Approach:

Thanks to living in Germany for ten years, I have excellent knowledge of the language and culture. I am passionate about my subject and enjoy facilitating young people's education through variety and creative resources. My aim is to tailor the learning to meet the individual needs of the student.
