Personal Description:

Hi, I am a retired teacher who has had immense pleasure from teaching young people throughout my teaching career and on a one- to one basis during my reirement.

I currently attend French conversation classes and go to France at regular intervals to continually improve my skills.

I thoroughly enjoy working with young people and have developed skills though teaching, working in the careers service and as a mother.

Teaching Experience:

25 years as a comprehensive school teacher of French

Extensive experience of private tuition

Teaching Approach:

I endeavour to make teaching as enjoyable as possible through the use of videos, internet listening comprehensions, You Tube, as well as using traditional textbooks

The four skills of listening speaking reading and writing are covered with the emphasis based on the needs of the pupils.
