Information About Clare - Droitwich teacher - (1 review)
This is how 2 referees rated Clare:
In my spare time I like to play tennis and badminton. I am a member of a folk band in which I play clarinet, whistle or violin but my favourite instrument in which I have grade 8 is piano. I most enjoy accompanying other musicians on the piano-this is my ‘forte’ so to speak.
I am a memeber of my town twinning group which involved me going to France evey other year and then hosting French friends when they come over every alternate year.
I have lived and taught in France on three separate occasions totalling up to two and a half years. I can pass as ‘French’ when I speak to French mother tongue speaking people. Teaching the language to 3-18 year olds and also to adults has been my great pleasure for 17 years. I have taught ‘A Level French at Cheltenham Ladies’ College and have also taught absolute beginnners, from the age of 3 to the age of 70 plus.
My aim in teaching is always to get to know the needs of the pupil, to know what the person is hoping to achieve. By establishing a good personal rapport, I aim to make learning as enjoyable as possible. Giving realistic and achievable aims means that a studuent can grow in confidence. I have a strong bias towards speaking and listening as these are often the weakest and yet the most useful language skills but reading and writing can be brought into lessons too if that is needed.

Clare is friendly and encourages enthusiasm in the subject, and I have been very pleased with my early progress under her tuition.
I'm delighted to be teaching you, Dan and to see you progress so well already.
