Personal Description:

My name is Claire, I am a native French teacher. I come from Nantes, but my teaching has led me to the jungles of Gabon (Africa), the deserts of Oman, and to lush West Sussex.

My love affair with one-to-one tuition continues to this day; I am based in Horsham and I offer tuition for students of all ages and capabilities, focusing on conversation and grammar.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught in various capacities all my adult life. I started my career as a French school teacher in south of Brittany and later in West Africa. In Muscat (Oman, Middle East), I taught French in a school as well as offering supplementary tuition for French expatriate children and I also set up and ran a very successful « froggy club » for young children. I have taught French as a foreign language since 2000 and have undertaken various training courses.
I have been giving personal tuition since coming back to the UK in 2011 with students ranging from young children to mature adults with GCSE, A level and Open University level in between.

From Claes (5/5): Claire is a native French speaker and an experienced language teacher. She makes the lessons fun by turning them into a conversation where she ensures that the grammar and vocabulary is well understood. Each lesson also includes a short repetition of the previous lesson.
