Information About Chiara - London teacher
Hi, I am a qualified Italian teacher, born and raised in Milan but with a passion fro international travelling which made me live in the United States and then in London, where I have been living for 3 years now.
II studied English, Chinese and French so I know what it feels like to be a language student, and I am happy to be there to help you overcome all the difficulties and make studying Italian a fun experience! I have always been extremely passionate about teaching Italian language and passing on to my students information about Italian culture.
I started teaching one-to-one and two-to-one in 2008 to university students. Since then I have never stopped to teach students and young professionals on private basis. I have also taught classes to two groups of beginners and intermediate students over the summer of 2012.
My tutoring is based on the communicative approach. I only use authentic texts to give my students the experience of using the real Italian language from the very beginning. I prefer to give my students the opportunity to infer by themselves the rules and structures of the language, by analysing the texts, instead of boring them with a "lecture" on grammar rules. I like to make my students talk as much as possible and I love to include cultural elements in the lessons.
