Information About Caroline - Harrogate teacher
This is how 3 referees rated Caroline:
I have recently become a Mum and have moved back to the Harrogate area from my busy job in an independent boarding school in Hertfordshire to spend more time with my family. I love sharing my enthusiasm for language learning and travel and I find it extremely rewarding and exciting to see individuals make progress with their confidence and capabilities in a language.
I am a qualified and experienced teacher of French and Italian. Prior to having my baby, I was teaching at a high achieving independent secondary school in the south of England and have experience teaching all abilities from ages 10-18. I have also prepared pupils for their applications to study languages at university, including Oxbridge. I have taught all major exam boards including IB. I teach French from scratch up to advanced level and Italian from absolute beginner to intermediate/ advanced.
I feel very strongly that modern foreign language learning should be fun, interactive and have cultural context to make it more engaging and relevant. From my experience working with a variety of age ranges and abilities, I have a wealth of resources and strategies to help maximise progress and enjoyment from language learning. I tailor my teaching to the needs of the individual, but always strive to make my lessons fun and engaging.
