I am Spanish. I have a degree in Biology and a PhD in Molecular Biology.
Spanish is my mother language but I speak fluent English and good French.
I am married and have three sons. We speak Spanish at home and my sons are fully bilingual.
I am qualified to teach Spanish as a Foreign Language by the Spanish Education Ministry and science in secondary schools (in Spain).
I substituted for missing science teachers in Spain (2008).
I taught Spanish in Bahrain (2013) at the "Wantolearnspanish" language school to a group of adults.
I also gave privately lessons to GCSE students.
I believe that learning has to be fun to keep students interested and engaged. I love my country and will enjoy sharing with my students Spanish music and comedy, our landscapes and our cooking.
The type of class will be associated with the age of the student. Children benefit for learning in small groups whereas older children and adults will learn more efficiently individually.
In my experience, certificates to prove language levels are very useful in the job market. DELE examinations correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and range from A1 for beginners to C2 for language skills at the highest level.
