I am currently a master student at University of Salford.
My teaching career has been reflecting my childhood dream, and I find the passionate interest every single day. It is no doubt that I am penetrated with the saying of Confucius, namely “do what you love, and you will never work a day in your life”. Indulging my passion for academic activities, I and my colleagues were co-writers on two paper in ''International Symposium on New Technologies for Urban Safety of Mega Cities in Asia'' held in Yangon Myanmar, where I solely made the presentation in front of the large audience. Being dissatisfied with the existing understanding, I am constantly learning, particularly through five courses on various subjects conducted by Singapore government at Vietnam Singapore Training Center, Public Private Partnership courses organized by Asia PPP Institute, fundamental training provided ARCHIBUS Incorporated.
I have been working as a full-time lecturer at National University of Civil Engineering since 1st July 2014.
I intend to utilize the learner-centered approach and encourage real communication.
The learner-centered rationale acknowledges that language learning is a life-long activity and language learners, in order to be successful, need to learn to become independent learners with an array of language learning strategies that can be employed in many situations.
Concentrating on real communication in the classroom is also important because it helps a learner acquire a second language. Extensive exposure to and interaction in the second language is necessary for acquisition. Learners need to be exposed to language that is understandable in order to make use of the input and notice new structures and forms in the second language.
