Personal Description:
I am an English native speaker with over 15 years classroom teaching experience. I have a young family, who are bilingual French and English.
Teaching Experience:
I am an examiner for GCSE and A level for both French and Spanish and have been a Specialist Leader in Education for languages in secondary schools for 8 years.
I teach from pre-primary to adult learners, for any qualification/purpose.
Teaching Approach:
My lessons are dynamic and use the latest teaching techniques. No two lessons are the same to maximise pupil -enjoyment.

AliceFrom Margaret (5/5): I cannot praise Alice highly enough for her approach and capability as a French teacher. My daughter, who is currently an A2 French student lost confidence in her linguistic abilities during year 12, lost interest in the subject and became anxious this year about achieving the A level grade she needs to get in to her first choice of University. After 4 lessons with Alice, she is a different student and enjoying learning a language again. Alice is very encouraging, isolates any problems that need addressing and sets realistic, achievable targets each week. I cannot believe it, but my daughter is now considering studying a module in French when she gets to University. M.A.
From Catherine (/5): Alice is fantastic. We were looking for someone who could offer exam technique coaching as well as help with honing language skills at GCSE level. We are so thankful to have found Alice - she fits the bill perfectly and has already made a difference in only 3 lessons! I highly recommend her. She has a lot of teaching experience, is fluent in both French and Spanish - plus is up to date with the best way to approach all elements of key exams and how the different exam boards operate.
