Personal Description:

I am passionate about languages and am fluent in Spanish and Italian. I have lived and worked in both Spain and Italy and have gained valuable knowledge and experience from my English, Spanish and Italian teaching within these countries. Learning a new foreign language should be both fun and exciting and my teaching is based around enjoyment and self-fulfilment. I teach all levels of Spanish and Italian, including complete beginners and tailored-made Holiday Spanish/Italian, Key Stages, G.C.S.E , A-level and advanced to proficiency level.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching modern languages and English since 2003. I have taught in primary and secondary schools in both Spain and Italy, as well as private language schools, namely British School of Naples and Cambridge Language School of Barcelona. I am a fully qualified English Language ESOL teacher and oral examiner for Cambridge University English ESOL examinations. I have experience of teaching pre-school, teenagers and adults in both a one-to-one environment and classroom situation. I also have vast experience of in company training and language teaching within a workplace environment.

Teaching Approach:

I believe that, above all, learning should be enjoyable and fun. I am a very passionate and enthusiastic teacher and would encourage anybody to enjoy the challenge of learning a new language. I am an extremely organised and conscientious teacher and believe in positively encouraging and motivating students in order to enhance their own natural abilities and talent. I focus strongly on communication and correct pronunciation and believe that practice is the key to success. Perfecto!
