Personal Description:

My name is Salėha, I am a French language tutor and coach. I was born in Paris in the famous Montmartre Quarter. After finishing my studies at the University Paris V (with a degree in Economics & Maths), I decided to move to the UK to learn English but also to experience the ‘British culture & way of life’ – and what a better way to learn and assimilate than interacting with the people who actually speak the language and enjoy sharing their culture.

I normally teach from my home but can also visit in selected areas only. Please note that travel time expenses are not included in my tuition rates. I can also provide online tuition, which means that wherever you are, in the United Kingdom or anywhere in the world, you can have live French tuition through your personal computer (please note that this is only possible if you download Skype or MSN or FaceTime).

I have been teaching French for 8 years and what I have learned is that everybody is different and learns differently. I love to share my passion for France, my my native language and culture, in a relaxed and informative manner, and always with a coffee or tea. My teaching and discussion rooms have amazing views over the gardens and paddocks which provide a very calming environment for teaching and learning.

My lessons are tailor made, to suit your objectives and requirements, I provide all material such as worksheets, course notes (which I take and send from my ipad), tailor made audios (listen & repeat – this service is included in the lesson price). I have collected a small but effective library of course books (and French reading books, CD, DVDs, audio books) throughout the years I have been teaching French which I can also use if required.
At our first session, an assessment will be conducted to identify your level and provide a program adapted to specific needs.
The content and format of the French tuition will depend on your assessment results and your requirements. In all cases, key areas covered in all French tuition include:
* Reading exercises
* Listening exercises
* Speaking/pronunciation exercises
* Writing/grammar exercises
* Duration of each tuition session: 1 hour
* confidence building in speaking the language
* exam coaching (if applicable)

Learning a language should be a pleasure, although it does mean hard work, commitment and practice as well! But what a great achievement when you get to the stage when you can actually start communicating in a foreign language, you will feel like you are the King of the word. This is exactly how I felt when I have learned English! So, my approach to teaching is:
