Personal Description:

A native French speaker from the Island of Mauritius, I am an extremely passionate linguist. A committed, caring and proficient teacher, I provide French tuition from beginners to advanced levels, with experience teaching both GCSE and A-Levels, as well as adults learners. I am conversant with most exams boards. I aim to provide stimulating lessons in order to engage and motivate all learners. I have lived in Dorset for a number of years with my partner and our 3 children.

Teaching Experience:

A Qualified Teacher of Modern Foreign languages I gained my French degree at the University of Exeter and completed my teacher training at the University of Bath. Currently, I teach French at KS3, GCSE, A-Levels & Adult learners

Teaching Approach:

As a linguist, whenever possible I like to converse with my learners in the Target language to encourage and build communication competence. I believe that by creating an authentic atmosphere this aids my learners to become familiar and accustom to the sounds and pronunciation from the onset of learning, thus developing speaking confidence.

My approach to teaching is very much tailored to the individuals. Lessons are differerntiated according to learners needs and learning styles. Thus, I strive to make learning enjoyable and fun by catering for all learning styles using hosts of learning resources
