Personal Description:

I am a native English tutor from Bristol, UK, where I now live. I worked in Paris, France, for 10 years teaching all levels of English from beginners to expert. Then I lived in South Korea for 2 years where I also taught English to all levels, and to younger learners from 5 to 18. Now, I'm back in my home town of Bristol. I have been a private tutor for the last three years here helping non-native speakers and also local native speakers with essay writing, exams, proofreading, and structure. I normally teach from home in Clifton or I can travel in Bristol.

Teaching Experience:

10 years in Paris at companies such as Christian Dior, L'Oréal, Shell. Groups, 1:1, targeted lessons (legal English, presentations, meetings, email writing, social English.

Teaching Approach:

Every student is different. My approach is to discover their needs, their aims, their objectives. Then I tailor a structured course that suits them. I use a wide variety of media and resources: recent articles from newspapers, podcasts, role-plays, games, interviews on youtube, exercises.
