Personal Description:
I am an experienced teacher from Norwich, in Norfolk. I graduated from Warwick University in 2005 with a first class degree in English and German literature. I am friendly and approachable and I enjoy a wide range of activities in my spare time, including reading and playing sport.
Teaching Experience:
I gained qualified teacher status in 2010 and was judged to be an outstanding teacher. Since then, I have been working as a secondary school teacher at a local comprehensive school. I have extensive experience teaching GCSE German & Spanish & A-level German. Prior to that, I worked in London and Norwich teaching English to speakers of other languages. I have experience of teaching for the IELTS and Cambridge FCE examinations.
Teaching Approach:
I use a rich and varied range of resources, including authentic resources from Germany and Spain to bring the subject to life. I have a student-centred approach, allowing students to gain confidence in all aspects of their language learning.
