Information About Andy - Haslemere teacher

Personal Description:

Hello, I am an enthusiastic Latin teacher with a real love of the subject. I studied Classics at Bristol University. I currently live in Haslemere but am willing to travel to teach if the distance is not too far. I think that Latin can sometimes be taught as a dead language and this puts off a lot of people. However to me Latin is a language equally as important as many other languages such as French and Spanish and it can spin you off into many different career opportunities. I have helped my children also see this approach to Latin.

I am the author of two best selling business books (Open Minds, and Experiment At Work) and the founder of the most successful advertising agency of the late '90s. i have appeared on numerous TV programmes and documentaries and am quoted in over 100 business books including those used in AS level and University business courses. I have spoken extensively internationally and shared the stage with Bill Clinton, Bono (U2) and Mikhail Gorbacev, to name but a few.

But Classics has always been my passion!

Teaching Experience:

I have been in business since I graduated from Bristol University. but I have lectured (in Business Studies) as guest lecturer at Bath University.

Teaching Approach:

I would find teaching strategies which help you excel in Latin. Because I have a passion for the subject I enjoy teaching it to you and I am very open minded to your learning speed and level of competence.
