Personal Description:

Hi,
I am Aitor, a 46 year old professional working in purchasing who has a passion for languages. I was born in Spain and moved over to England 19 years ago. I have a degree en English Studies. I enjoy meeting new people and my main hobbies are sports and music.

Teaching Experience:

I started over in Spain helping students improve in their language skills, mainly in English and Basque. I also worked for a few years teaching English to businessmen and I also worked in a language school teaching English to pupils of all different age groups and needs. I currently teach as a private tutor in Epsom, but I would like to have a group of people rather than just one to one sessions to make learning more fun, and also cheaper for students. If we manage to get a group of at least 4 students I will not charge more than £10 an hour. I have been teaching Spanish in the Epsom area for the last 8 years.

Teaching Approach:

My approach to teaching is mainly bespoke to your needs, wether you need to pass your exams or wether you want to have some holiday Spanish, I can cover it all. I learned English listening to music sung in English, and I think that you could do the same with Spanish. I understand the spelling can be challenging and I will concentrate more in understanding and making yourself understood by putting the student in real life situations, always making sure that it is fun and rewarding. Unless you are a student that needs to take exams I do not follow any text books, as I create my own. All my students so far have been mature students who want to enjoy their experience in Spanish speaking countries.
