I have a first class degree Computer Engineering with experience in building PCs, system troubleshooting for both hardware and software problems. I have intermediate knowledge of programming concepts with specific languages like Visual Basic, Java, Python and Matlab.
My experience also covers Computer Networking especially Cisco Routers and Switches which I configure for fun at my leisure time. I am planning to write the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNA) exam soon and can teach ICND1 material from subletting to understanding the OSI layer.
I have built several Computer systems, installed operating systems from Windows (XP, 7, 8, 10), Linux, Macintosh and have experience troubleshooting software issues and anti-virus problems.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA): In view
Computer Programmer: 2005 - Now
IT/Computing University Teacher (Department of Computing University of Bradford): Sept 2012 - May 2016
Generally because no two students are the same, the way I approach teaching differs for various students. Nevertheless, a generic pedagogy to teaching can involve the following : -
1. Find knowledge gaps based on student requirements
2. Use meta-cognition to determine the learning style of student
3. Provide lesson notes and useful links
4. Provide hands-on examples and give room for self-practice
The above strategies may not be followed religiously but can be a guide.

He is very flexible since I sometimes need to change the days/time.
Also he does a bit of overtime to help me when required which i think is nice.
He is also very socialistic which makes him even a better teacher, we even played chess once!
He is getting me ready for 2014 June/July exams.
