Personal Description:

I am a Computer Science teacher with nine years of teaching experience and an excellent record of accomplishments. I am currently teaching in a Sixth Form college and have prior experience teaching in higher education institutions. In my past experiences, I have also worked as Assistant Systems Engineer with a **Contact Detail Removed** firm where I was involved in developing IT projects.

I have a flair for teaching Information Technology (IT) courses which includes Web development, Databases, Programming and Scripting languages and Information & Data Security. Over the past years, I have been involved in tutoring and mentoring students upto A / AS level with ICT and Computing and graduation level students with subjects (theory and practical) of Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical, Electronics and **Contact Detail Removed**communication Engineering. I have also helped students prepare for postgraduate engineering entrance examination.

Training Experience:

I have more than nine years of experience teaching IT subjects as a teacher as well as a private tutor. I have experience of teaching varied range of IT courses in different sectors - Sixth form college, Higher education institutions and IT consulting firms. Most of my students have shown immediate improvement in the subject.

Training Approach:

These are the few things I have learnt from my experience and are my philosophical fundamentals of teaching:

1. Strong theoretical understanding of the subject is rudimentary to entice the student's interest and improve the student's overall performance.

2. "Demonstrator or personal model" works with high results. Here I work along with my student(s) on different example problems wherein I try and demonstrate different approaches to solving a given problem often pushing the student by giving hints. At the same time, I encourage my students to develop an independent problem solving approach.

3. Introducing the real world application of the theoretical concepts help the student appreciate the subject.

4. Working on the students psyche helps get better result.

5. Pace of the lesson delivery, illustrated examples and practise problems need to be dynamically chosen for each individual student.
