Personal Description:

2nd year Computer Science student studying at the University Of Warwick.

Having studied GCSE and A-Level Computer Science, both of which I achieved an A* in, I know how daunting of a task the Coding questions and pseudo code questions appear. Teachers often pushed for memorisation and a copy from brain paste to paste to paper mechanism of teaching coding. This abstracts away the nuances of programming and the beauty in which code can be written.

I have coded for 10+ years at this point and have experience in Java, Python, C and Haskell and at university, I have learnt incredibly useful techniques and styles of programming which I am eager to share!

Training Experience:

While new to online tutoring, I have experience working with friends and other students at university on various coding projects and providing advice and guidance where neccessary.

I have also worked with several students in a step by step approach to learning Python which i believe to the best introductory language and the one most suitable for technical interviews for companies like Facebook, Amazon, Netflix and Google (FANG)

Training Approach:

Learning is a very personal process, each student is different and I want to adapt to the individual. In the programming world we have syntax, a set of rules that define the structure to which code must be written. Syntax varies from language to language and so will the teaching style provided.

I take an enthuistic approach to teaching and classes will utilise an online whiteboard along with other intereactive tools like Replit (An online collabrative IDE) to provide a far more engaging environment to learning.
