Information About Joseph - Bath trainer
I am an experienced IT Trainer and highly-skilled with most modern software packages. Having worked within the NHS for the last three years, I have gained an appreciation for the use of computers in every day roles as well as an empathy for the needs of the end user. I am a confident presenter and communicator, and have proven able to be hands-on and deliver to both large groups and one-to-one.
I am highly flexible in my approach to IT Training - from corporate classroom based sessions to personal one to one sessions in the home. Whichever environment, I will always strive to ensure that the session is as enjoyable and useful as possible to the learner.
I have worked in a variety of different roles in IT for the last two years, and have been training IT for the last year. Before that, I have also worked in various administrative roles and within IT Help Desk environments, meaning that I am able to utilise both my natural IT and people skills and share an empathy with how users will be utilising IT in their day to day job roles
I believe the key to successful IT Training is to take away the fear of computers, and I try to do this by making my sessions as fun as they are informative and memorable for learners - We are all different, and our skills with computers can vary massively, not to mention our requirements in regards to what we use them for. I feel it is important to recognise this, and use it to shape and tailor sessions to suit the needs of the user.
Having worked in IT for a long time in various different environments, I am able to adapt my sessions to suit both personal and business requirements, as well as target my sessions as much as possible to my audience in order for them to go away feeling positive about what they have learned and the session as a whole.
