Information About Adam - Bristol trainer - (1 review)
This is how 2 referees rated Adam:
Hi, I am a 29 year old male and work for an engineering consultancy in the center of Bristol. I have many interests outside of work including playing sports of all kinds, learning Spanish, learning guitar, reading, mountain biking, camping and climbing. I am an outgoing, friendly, sociable person and enjoy meeting new people and trying new things.
If you, your family or business collegues would like to learn Microsoft Excel in a relaxed, friendly environment, at your own pace, either as a general introduction or in specific areas, hopefully I can help out.
My job entails the use of Microsoft Excel on a daily basis and using complex functions, formulae and macros. Consequently I am a proficient user and could teach people at any level of prior experience, from beginner through to expert. I can help out with any partcular area of Excel, or provide an overall guide to its various capabilities. I can also provide guidance on the use of macros in Excel using VBA.
I have some experience using the other Microsoft Office products (Word, Office, Powerpoint, Access etc) and could teach beginners in these areas as well.
I take a relaxed but structured and methodological approached to teaching, introducing new information, concepts and ideas at pace which is comfortable for the client. The knowledge aquired in each lesson is sustained and reinforced through repeated use and also through use in different contexts. I am happy to teach a general introductory course or to concentrate on particular areas of preference should the client wish to focus on certain learning objectives.
The overall objective of the introductory course will be for the client to become a confident user of Excel, to have mastered the basics, and depending on the level:
- to be able to create and manipulate tables of data
- to know about how data and processes can be interconnected to create powerful spreadsheet tools
- to have knowledge of a wide range of spreadsheet functions and formulae
- to be able to create graphical outputs
- to be able to use macros to create Excel spreadsheets with added functionality and flexibility
