Personal Description:
I am a professional and qualified teacher with an excellent track record with both class based and one to one tuition. I have assisted struggling students to achieve much improved grades in both exams and coursework. I have successfully helped students with mild dyspraxia to improve their performance and grades, then progress on to university.
Training Experience:
I have over 10 years experience as an IT trainer. I have taught academic and vocational students in public colleges, private colleges as well as in one to one tuition sessions.
Whilst employed for a business to business IT solution provider I had the responsibility for training new members of staff in how to use company systems. In addition I participated in the training of the company's clients in how to use its products.
Training Approach:
My approach is not to spoon-feed students but to structure the lessons to accommodate their individual needs and maximize on their potential. My lessons are tailored for each student's needs. When teaching groups of students I prefer to organise them into teams working towards a common goal, this approach teaches the essential skill of working in a team as well as ensuring that all students develop their individual skills.
