Information about Jenny - Blackheath instructor

Personal Description::

My name is Jenny and I am a professional dancer/actor working in the West End, London.

I trained at Bird College Conservatoire of Dance and Musical Theatre from 2004-2007, and have been lucky enough to have worked almost solidly since graduation on tour and in the West End.
I specialise in tap and jazz teaching, but was highly ballet trained as a child and a student, so I can teach this to a high standard also, with all terminology.

My main prerogative is to find a positive outlet for people through dance. I always want my students to enjoy their learning, as well as achieve a high standard in each field.

Dance Instruction/Teaching Experience::

I mainly teach at colleges and dance schools around the UK, usually in a workshop capacity, or during term time when their regular teachers aren't available.

I have had the opportunity to choreograph for college showcases, and offer my support and advice in an audition-based environment, for those wishing to take this on as a career.

Teaching Approach::

I stand by doing something every day that scares you, in both the performing arts and in every day life, and try to always keep a positive spin on everything I do, which in turn rubs off on my students.

There is no such word as 'can't' in my classes, and I always give my students my full attention, patience and time. Some people require more of this than others, and I have an abundance of all of those things to offer.
