Personal Description::

Hello!

I am a fresh graduate in BA(Hons), Contemporary Dane with loads of enthusiasm, energy, and good vibes. I specialise in contemporary and ballet techniques but I have also trained for 10 years in Ballroom and Latin Styles. I would be happy to teach and tutor with dance techniques or even just learning the basics of moving.

I can't wait to meet you and start dancing!

Dance Instruction/Teaching Experience::

My teaching experience lies in teaching and assisting Creative Contemporary classes to children aged between 5 and 12, where dance is used as a creative input in making exercise as well as developing their creativity, teamwork, and imagination. Additionally, I also teach older children, aged between 12 and 16 where they wish to pursue a dance career. Here I help them with dance techniques such as Contemporary and Ballet as well as helping them with Chorography and Audition practice.

Furthermore, I also teach Social Ballroom Adult classes to any individuals/couples who wish to have a tase of a STRICTLY-like experience. I also take on soon to be married couples, preparing and choreographing for their Wedding Dance

Teaching Approach::

My approach to teaching focuses on the ability of my students. I always try to make my students comfortable but also challenge them into learning new moves. One of my techniques into teaching dance is using visual stimuli that the student may be familiar with, in order to help them with leaning a particular complex movement.

For younger children, I use music and poems simultaneously with the actions as it helps them better remember the sequences.
