Bethan has been working as a coach for upwards of 5 years and has extensive coaching experience in all aspects of communication.
She has worked and continues to work with a hugely varied client base, with both individuals and corporates, using a unique blend of techniques to create a bespoke course programme for each client. This is key to enable each individual to achieve their specific communication goals, be this in regards to their accent, public speaking, an upcoming interview, presentations or more general communication.
Bethan trained as a professional actor at Arts Ed London which has equip her with a great transferable skill set to bring to her coaching work. Alongside these skills, clients benefit from a wide variety of tools and techniques that are pulled together from methods including NLP, NVC and more general coaching to help them reach their potential as communicators… Alongside her coaching work, Bethan works across TV, radio and stage, as an actor, presenter and voiceover artist. Clients include Sky, Nickelodeon, Disney and Global Radio to name a few.
Being a working actor means her skills are always kept up to date. Previous to drama school training she gained all of her LAMDA grades (grade 3- Diploma) and also hold the Bronze and Silver grades in RADA Shakespeare certificate. She has taught LAMDA exams both privately, and at Portland Place School, and has also helped potential drama school students with their audition preparation ( with a 100% acceptance rate!).
She has an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate and belongs to both Equity and Spotlight.
Bethan uses intuitive tools and techniques to bring the best out of her clients. She believes that authenticity is key to becoming an effective communicator and enjoys developing bespoke programmes for each client to enable them to reach their communication goals.
She recommends all of her potential clients to have a trial session before committing to further sessions. This is a great way for clients to see how she works and get a feel for her coaching style to see if it a good fit for them. This session involves discussing goals, practical work and before and after filming. It culminates in recommendations for further improvements and areas of focus for subsequent sessions.
