This is how 2 referees rated Hyoun Young:
My artist name is Yva . I graduated from the fine art programme at the Slade School of Fine Art in 2016 and received Master of Fine Art from School of Visual Arts in New York in 2008. I work with various media such as painting, drawings, photography and sculpture, and have exhibited internationally. I have been awarded a number of art grants - most recently, I received a funding from Arts Council England for a solo exhibition.
I taught undergraduate fine arts students at the Slade School of Fine Art as PGTA and A levels at the Slade Summer School as a tutor. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and am qualified to teach up to university-level tutorials. Prior to that, I taught art courses for KS3, KS4 and A-levels at the Brilliant Club in London and delivered art workshops for deaf-blind students at the Sense Charity. I have taught private art lessons for students at various levels from casual learners to GCSEs. I can offer art lessons for the casual learners who want to have fun and be creative. Also, I can teach students who need help for the art classes at school, GCSEs or preparing for the university portfolios. Lessons can take place at students' homes or my studio in St. Albans.
I offer creative art tutorials to students of all ages and levels. I can teach drawing, painting, sculpture and photography. Each lesson is tailored to what the student wants and likes. I can both teach one to one and in groups. Each session is fun and unique.
