Acting / Drama
I graduated from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA) in 2017 with a BA (Hons) Acting and have been working as a professional actor and tutor in the UK and across Europe ever since. I have an immensely high success rate with 80% of my students gaining places at accredited UK Drama Schools.
Professional Credits Include: Mr Banks in Blue Stockings (Mill at the Pier Theatre, Manchester), Ginger in Jerusalem (Mill at the Pier Theatre, Manchester), Dame Widow Twanky in Aladdin (UK Tour), Prowdy in Destination Success (UK Tour), Ensemble in An Enemy of the People (Bolton Octagon Theatre, Bolton), The Man in DaDa House (Cabaret Voltaire, Zurich), Luke in Wish List (Hippodrome Theatre, West End) Theo in There is a War (Hope Mill Theatre, Manchester), Chris in Permission (Theater Teatro, Italy), Ensemble in An Inspector Calls (The Mayflower Theatre, Southampton).
I have just finished filming for the new Sky Crime series, Britain’s Most Evil Killers which is to be aired in the US and UK later this year.
I currently teach drama and audition technique privately and has been a guest acting tutor in both the UK and abroad for institutions such as KZU, Switzerland / PQA, Southport / Richard Tauntons College, Southampton and KES, Southampton. He is also the current head of acting at Theatretrain in Southampton. I also tour the country speaking to young people in schools as an arts ambassador promoting various careers in the arts as part of the governments National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP).
I currently teach acting, drama and audition technique privately in the UK and abroad. I also sit on audition panels for theatre companies and some drama schools on a freelance basis. I started teaching privately in 2016 after numerous people approached me for lessons on all aspects of drama from LAMDA Exam preparation to Drama School audition preparation. I have taught for institutions such as KZU, Switzerland / PQA, Southport / Fluid Motion Theatre, Basingstoke / KES, Southampton / Big Mouth Theatre, Hedge End. I am also the Head of Acting for TheatreTrain in Southampton and one of the onset acting coaches for ADBV Media, Preston.
In my opinion, teaching in the arts is most effective when personalised. The problem with solely learning drama at school or college is the sheer number of other students. This makes it virtually impossible for a tutor to spot specific details in each performers technique that need refinement and improvement.
In an industry where the chances of success are so weighed against you, specialist and personalised advice could and often is the difference between success and failure. I believe that I can offer you up to date, industry tested, professional and affordable tuition.
Whether its an audition or an exam, I will offer you the best advice and tuition possible to help you achieve your goals.
