Personal Description:
I am a craft teacher and mother based in Devon and I specialise in teaching sewing, knitting, patchwork, quilting and soap making. I have a purpose built teaching space with new sewing machines and a large cutting table for big projects. I love teaching people to sew and in particular patchwork, quilting and machine sewing. I can teach simple dress making, soft furnishing and clothing repairs as well as patchwork, quilting and other stitched projects.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching at The Work Shop in Crouch End North London for the past two years and in that time and gained a great deal of experience teaching beginners how to sew on both modern and vintage sewing machines. I have taught beginners and intermediate quilting and patchwork, beginners machine sewing, beginners knitting, soap making and candle making.
Teaching Approach:
I am patient and cheerful at all times and like to be very encouraging towards my students and give a great deal of personal attention to each person throughout my lessons. My enthusiasm for the work shows in my teaching style as I really enjoy teaching this subject matter and infusing my students with a similar passion.
