Information About Ronghui - Lancaster teacher
I started learning traditional Chinese painting from my father Zongsheng Su(who is a famous artist in China) since I was three years old. Started from Chinese painting, went through sketch drawings, watercolours and pattern designs, and ultimately I found myself returned to Chinese painting. Chinese painting represent Chinese culture, freehand style drawing is the highly popular genre, because it allow the artists express their own experiences and feelings. I am particularly into the flower and bird painting in freehand style.
I never begrudge my attention to beautiful thing. One of my lift-long pursuit is finding beauty, capturing beauty and recording beauty, therefore sharing the beauty with others. In my eyes, nothing is more beautifully harmony than the nature, where you can find the shape and colour of flowers, the harmony relationship between flower and bird.
I have been a visiting Art Lecturer in Manchester Metropolitan University from 2008. I introduced, presented and demonstrated Chinese painting for average 25 students per lecture. I have carried 10 workshops so far.
I believe everyone is a great artist in their own way. Students have fun while they are creativing their own art.
