This is how 2 referees rated Paul:
I live in Sunderland and graduated from the University of Sunderland many years ago with a degree in media. I am currently enrolled on a Masters degree in photography which will be completed this year. I also hold a current and relevant teaching certificate which is FENTO standards recognised. Teaching and helping people to academically achieve is something I love doing! I am a very social and enthusiastic person and have a great ability in motivating people in activities and reaching their full potential.
I have over 25 years experience in a variety of teaching settings, including indoor/outdoor training organisations, special schools and F.E. I have taught a a range of subjects, including curriculum core subjects, media, I.T. graphics, and photography.
Foremost I love photography, I believe it is a great hobby and career and serves as an escape from everyday stresses. I love sharing my passion by passing on the knowledge and skills of photography to other people. I am patient and easy person to get along with, and I can guarantee fun while learning photography with me. I listen to what you want and allow you to chose what activities or places you would like, rather than expecting you to follow me. I will also teach you the aspects of photography you want or need to know within these activites, introducing you to new ideas and functions that may be you hadn't considered. I like everyone to have an input and therefore you will have control of your own learning and will primarily lead any session.
