Personal Description:

I am a RADA graduate who has worked extensively in the industry. Since graduating I have worked in TV, film, theatre, and voiceovers, and I have worked part-time nannying and tutoring/mentoring students, sharing with them the skills I have learnt from my training and experiences working in the arts.
Primarily a dancer, and also a passionate singer, I chose to focus on acting, and I moved to London at the age of 18 to study and to pursue my dreams.
I am energetic and optimistic, and I thrive on encouraging and witnessing people’s growth in all areas and walks of life.

Teaching Experience:

In 2007 I worked in a secondary school in Liverpool for a year in the performing arts faculty, specialising in drama, dance and art. In 2011 I worked in a nursery in South Wimbledon as a key worker, and I was in charge of organising the creative projects, and teaching poetry and dance. Since 2011 I have been a nanny for children aged 3 months +, and I have experience of and am comfortable working with children with autism. Most recently I have begun online acting classes, and have become a mentor for anyone looking to sharpen their craft.

Teaching Approach:

I don’t have a set way of teaching each class: every student is different, and so I always offer a ‘pre session’ in order for the student and I to get to know one another, and for me to learn what will be the most effective method of learning for them. But one thing that is constant in all my lessons, is that I encourage the student to be as open and as free as they possibly can, and above all, I want them to enjoy themselves as we explore characters and storylines. Thanks to my RADA training, I feel my approach to teaching is classical. There was no stone left unturned during my time there, so I have the ability to work on many aspects of acting and performance; Shakespeare, contemporary plays, audition prep, audition technique, drama school applications, sight reading, dialect, voice, movement, acting through song, creative writing, verse and prose.
