Information About Jane - Swaffham teacher

Personal Description:

I have lived in Norfolk with my family for 17 years and love its rural locality and influence. I often work and share my studio which is situated in our unusual garden. I have had various careers throughout my life so far but I have always participated, exhibited and taught Mixed Media Art throughout.

Teaching Experience:

I am a Mixed Media Artist and Tutor. I teach throughout Norfolk in many different venues and different levels including schools, Galleries, Shops and from my Art Studio. I hold a tutors Certificate and an enhanced CRB due to working with Norfolk Education. I have 100s of happy students in Norfolk and inspire by my classes, websites and blogs, many more around the world. I am also constantly learning myself to keep my teaching vibrant and inspiring for myself and my students.

Teaching Approach:

With many students and my zest for life I am very patient and organised so I can enjoy all that is available and encourage self exploration of art, mixed media and textiles within my students. I also encourage art in the real world, so use a lot of recycling and also how a student can take their art and share it with others, if they wish to in the wider community. We are constantly evolving at different rates and I encourage this individuality.
