Information About Elaine - Leeds teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Elaine:
A qualified, (FEd) freelance Creative Crafts Tutor and Assessor, also a self confessed Craftaholic who believes in using person centred approaches to teaching and learning. Which means that I will tailor my lessons to suit your individual requirements. I can offer tuition in card crafting and box making at beginner and intermediate levels. I design my own cards and specialise in crafting cards with dimensional elements.
I am able to offer cookery lessons on an outreach basis and specialise in preparing healthy meals which are either Gluten, Milk free or both. I will help you to create your own menus so that you are able to eat well even if you have been diagnosed with food intolerances.
My experience includes delivering Creative Crafts in Community settings to SFA Standards. I also facilitate craft workshops (again in the Community) for individuals who are experiencing mental health problems. Age is no barrier, as I am experienced in delivering theraputic craft workshops to people over the age of 50 which include a blend of complimentary and craft therapy.
Person centred coach and facilitator who constantly seeks out new and fun ways of working creatively with learners. Assisting them to develop their skills and interest in crafting techniques.
Where possible I try to include the use of information technology in teaching but this is by no means obligatory. The learner is the driver!
