I am a widely published (over a 19 year period) English Language author who specialises in Fiction and Poetry. I have published 12 collections of poetry, 3 novels and numerous short stories. I am currently a senior editor for a London-based publishing company as I am in charge of editing their Nobel Prize Collection of world literature. I was brought up with a love of all literature and have read widely across literature from numerous countries (including German, Italy, France, Spain, America, England). I am co-author of the reading manual 'Reading in No Time'in which I explain how to get the most out of reading. I love nurturing new talent and will always promote potential authors to take the right steps that will lead to published success. I teach Poetry and all genres of Fiction Writing.
My specialism is in the English Language, and I teach this at all levels, from basic Functional English, through Exam-level English up to Author-level English. I have taught numerous leaders in Telecommunications, Computing, Medicine, Law and Finance how the use of accurate English can improve their success and increase their achievements, though I am always ready to take on Academic Students when they are committed and motivated. I have been teaching across a wide array of subjects over 25 years (English Literature, European Philosophy, French Language, Psychology, Creative Writing, inter alia). I have only recently taken on pupils in Creative Writing although I have coached some authors to be published over the past 20 years. I teach all levels of Creative Writing.
I specialise in enabling students - whether for Work or Leisure - to apply Advanced Learning Techniques in the mastery of their subjects. These include: advanced reading skills, mnemonics, thought-mapping, accelerated learning and self-reprogramming. I adjust the program of learning to the challenges faced by the student and I commit myself to ensuring that the correct path is followed so as to succeed. A student's commitment is, of course, also essential, but as long as the student is ready to apply the knowledge and techniques I provide them with, improvement is guaranteed. I welcome students who require coaching with advanced learning techniques in Creative Writing, for writing creatively is a multi-disciplinary subject and requires the application of many different skills.
