Information About Andrew - Stroud teacher
This is how a referee rated Andrew:
I have been involved in Art & Design education for 25 year at Foundation Course level working with both traditional and digital approaches. My teaching incorporates drawing, painting and 3D making, photography, video and image manipulation through Photoshop and video. In addition to this I have worked in the creative industries, mainly in publishing and broadcasting, as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator. In addition to these subjects I also offer a package that prepares students and their portfolios prior to interviews for studying on Foundation Courses or at Degree level.
I have taught both traditional and digital approaches to Art & Design for 25 year, and for the past 7 years I have been the director of a UAL Foundation Art & Design Course.
My primary concern is to ensure that each student realises their full potential, not only in terms of academic achievement, but also in terms of confidence, motivation and self-esteem. The advantage of private tuition is that I am able to explore student`s needs on a one-to-one basis, enabling and supporting them to positively engage in project work in a way that is not usually possible in a classroom.
