Personal Description:

I`m a professional actor with 13 years of acting experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Acting from the Academy of Live In Recorded Arts (ALRA). My professional acting experience includes working in the West End, UK and Ireland tours and on television and film. I have a plethora of experience teaching and tutoring LAMDA, public speaking and acting to young people aged 6-18. I love helping students find their voice, build confidence and express themselves with clarity and impact, whether they`re preparing for a performance, an exam, or simply want to communicate more effectively or develop their public speaking skills.

Teaching Experience:

I have a plethora of experience working as a LAMDA, acting, and public speaking teacher, working with students of all ages and abilities. I have successfully prepared young people for LAMDA grades, school presentations, interviews and competitions, as well as facilitating acting workshops, and preparing young people for auditions. My approach combines professional performance techniques with a supportive, encouraging environment that helps students thrive.

I currently work across three schools, primary and secondary; Faraday Preparatory School (KS1-KS2), Newstead Wood Grammar School for Girls, and St Olave`s Grammar School (KS3 and KS4), working through the LAMDA syllabus and preparing students for the LAMDA exams. Over the past three years, all of my pupil have received distinctions or merits. I also offer online LAMDA classes in acting and public speaking, as well as acting technique, and preparing for auditions and interviews. Students have noted increased confidence and creativity after taking part in lessons, supporting them both to achieve excellent results, but also grow their confidence, creativity and performance arts skills, valuable in all aspects of life.

I also have significant experience working as a Teaching Assistant in Alternative Learning Provisions, specialising in working with children with ADHD, on the Autism spectrum and with other additional needs.

I am a friendly, patient and curious teacher and facilitator. I pride myself in my ability to tailor sessions to my individual students, support them to develop their confidence, acting ability and public speaking skills, and above all, ensure that lessons are creative and fun!

My most recent acting credit include Murder on the Orient Express (UK & Ireland Tour), Witness for the Prosecution (West End), and the Lost Lending Library (Punchdrunk Enrichment).

Teaching Approach:

I`ve been tutoring online since 2024 and I`ve developed engaging interactive lessons making the most of virtual tools using video, screen sharing and additional resources. I ensure that sessions feel dynamic and personal. My online lessons offer the same high-quality, personalised experience as in-person sessions, with every activity and piece of feedback designed to keep my students engaged and progressing. We use video, voice and movement in just the same way, just from the comfort of your own space!
